About the University

The University of Warwick is a world-leading university with the highest academic and research standards. It is one of the UK's leading universities, with an acknowledged reputation for excellence in research and teaching, innovation, and links with business and industry. The campus in Coventry welcomes over 26,500 students from over 150 countries.
The university is also known for its commitment to research. Warwick maintains around 30 academic departments organized into four faculties: Arts, Medicine, Science, and Social Science. In support of this, the university has an extensive library boasting more than 13 kilometers' worth of manuscripts.

Largest Student Union
The Warwick Student Union is one of the largest in the UK and uses its profits to employ students in its offices. It houses over 260 societies.
Gender Equality
According to Wikipedia, the male-to-female student ratio at Warwick is 50:50. Yay, gender equality.
Creative Charity
The men's team of the University of Warwick Boat Club, also known as the Warwick Rowers, has produced an annual wall calendar featuring their team members naked since 2009. Since 2012, the calendar has grown in fame, with the women's team now also producing a naked calendar. Some of the profits now go to Sport Allies, a program that reaches out to young people being challenged through bullying or low self-esteem.
University Summits
Warwick University hosts many major student-run events, including Warwick Economics Summit, Warwick Energy Conference, and Warwick China Summit. The Warwick Economics Summit is a student-run international forum that attracts students from 14 different universities, including Harvard, Princeton, LSE, and the University of Oxford, and past speakers have included John Nash and Vince Cable.

Warwick Business School is expanding its London base; they already operate from the Shard and are expanding their executive program into the 13th floor of the iconic building.
